Day 8. Today I was welcomed to Rome by thousands of runners.#leslieseuroadventure #lesismoretravel#jetsetles #yolo #travelbug#europebartthedoor #eurosaga /// Recap of the day: the Barcelona airport is more like a mall, being shown your gate number just 10 minutes before boarding starts is a really fun game to play, I get annoyed by people who don’t listen to instruction, I vaguely remember what safe driving looks and feels like, waiting for the perfect moment to run across the street with a suitcase while thousands of runners are coming at you is not easy, every European shower is very different from the next, having a suitcase of clean clothes is one of the greatest feelings and I’m excited to explore Rome. Day 9. 9.6 miles of galavanting around Rome.#leslieseuroadventure #lesismoretravel#jetsetles #travelbug #yolo#europebartthedoor #eurosaga /// Recap of the day: Dumbledore sunlights (vs. moonlights?) as a tour guide, it’s ok to eat gelato for breakfast, people are determined not to move out of the way, I love coconut gelato, it’s nice to have people to talk to, there is such thing as a bad pizza, gnocchi is yummy, I officially need more converse and I’ve walked 147,159 steps in Europe so far. Day 10. 8.6 miles of touring Vatican City. #leslieseuroadventure#jetsetles #lesismoretravel#biancashouldbehere #eurosaga#europebartthedoor /// Recap of the day: some people should go back to kindergarten to learn how to wait their turn, the dress code is not ideal for summer days, the spring water throughout the city is blessed, some tour guides are better than others, it’s still ok to have gelato for breakfast, I will definitely work out when I get back, seriously – I also had gelato for dessert, the evening entertainment is excellent, my credit card finally worked which is cool, and the architecture all around me blows my mind. To be continued in Venice…
