Day 20. Chicago -> Lisbon -> Barcelona -> Rome -> Venice -> Milan -> Lake Como -> London -> Chicago -> Milwaukee. My adventure has brought me right back to where I belong for my favorite holiday with some of the most important people. /// Recap of the adventure: air without cigarette smoke is something I will never take for granted again, I absolutely appreciate the access to water at home, London doesn’t expect 95 degree weather proven by the lack of air conditioning, Rome was definitely not built in a day, Milan is creative and driven, Lake Como is worth seeing for yourself, Barcelona is full of life, Lisbon is filled with gems around its many corners, fashion is what you make it, driving anywhere in Europe is terrifying, I am happy to use my credit card, I don’t like humidity no matter where I am, I have so many more places to go, smiles and music are an international language, I am incredibly independent and self sufficient, there are beautiful places all over the world, I am unbelievably lucky to have been able to travel, at the end of the day we are all just people taking it one day at a time, I am braver than I believe and most importantly, the people you’re with and the memories you make with them are the best adventure I can think of.
