Day 5. 7.8 miles of walking to Sagrada Família, Park Güell and Camp Nou.#leslieseuroadventure #lesismoretravel#jetsetles #biancashouldbehere #yolo#europebartthedoor #eurosaga #travelbug/// Recap of the day: Barcelona is unreal, Google maps is the bomb, TOMS and leggings tan lines are super sexy, the hills of Barcelona are not insignificant, people pick their noses whenever they feel like it, making friends in the bathroom is not restricted to the U.S., I’m overly obsessed with the architecture, my sense of direction has been thrown for a loop, Starbucks isn’t on every block but it exists when you need it most, rooftop pools are legit, I’m going to assume walking counts as my exercise for the day, and I have so many more places to see with so little time. Day 6. I wandered around Barcelona for 8.3 miles.#leslieseuroadventure #lesismoretravel#jetsetles #yolo #biancashouldbehere#europebartthedoor #eurosaga #travelbug/// Recap of the day: there is a lot of perfume and cologne all around me, you have no time to cross the street when the green man starts flashing and then turns red, placemats are required, smiles are a universally spoken language, it’s more fun to explore when there is no destination in mind, the most cigarette butts I’ve ever seen are outside of offices, you always have to ask for the check, men’s jean shorts are very fashionable, taking melatonin instead of your daily meds is not advised, man buns are the norm, make sure your camera actually charged all the way before taking off on an adventure, sunscreen is great, and I’ve already made a mental note to come back to Barcelona.
